Rodrigo (Digo) Lima is a registered architect in the state of Texas. He is also a member of the AIA, an NCARB Certificate Holder, a member of NOMA, and a board member of the Robert Mueller Municipal Airport Plan Implementation Advisory Commission. He currently holds the title of Associate and position of Senior Project Designer at Gensler’s Austin office on commercial, office, residential and mixed-use projects with an expertise in high-rise and vertical mixed-use.

With well over a decade of experience, Digo’s work has a notable clarity of vision. Though he may self describe as a contemporary-minimalist-mid-century- futurist , he is truly fueled by an almost intuitive understanding of his clients needs, wishes, and sensibilities. Though his work is immediately ambitious, it is backed by a simultaneously broad and deep technical knowledge, culminating into a highly realizable, efficient, and refined product. Digo’s easy demeanor makes him a joy to have on any project team, easing collaboration and the generation of fruitful ideas. His projects are always original and a pleasure to work on.

Digo is an excellent team member and project leader with an infectious passion for architecture. He believes that great architecture can be found in all project types, scales, and budgets… it’s just a matter of effort and thought.

Beginning in 2011, Digo worked as a freelance contract designer and fabricator for a number of firms throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area where he had the opportunity to fabricate custom architectural furniture and installations, and even worked as an architectural design consultant for a much anticipated video game, The Witness. At the beginning of 2013, he co-founded studioANOMALOUS, a small research-based design practice, along with business partner T. Jason Anderson. Digo has also worked as a visiting lecturer at California College of the Arts, primarily teaching introductory studios on computation and new media arts. Additonally, he has experience working in a range of architectural firms and scales, including the award winning Anderson Anderson Architecture, A Parallel Architecture, and Perkins + Will. Digo also spent a summer interning at Azul Arquitetura in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2007.

Digo received his Masters in Architecture from the California College of the Arts, in San Francisco in 2011, and a Bachelors of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2008.
